Regional networks and district focal organizations
CIF has also been coordinating national and regional peace networks in collaboration with National Peace Campaign (NPC). The regional peace networks were formed through regional gathering at the end of the regional training programmes organized by NPC on conflict transformation and peacebuilding during 2006/07. CIF had got its partner organizations in Dhankuta, Sindhuli, Bara, Kaski and Surkhet to lead Peace networks in eastern, mid, western and mid plus far western regions respectively. Furthermore, CIF has been coordinating national peace networks formed during the TOT on Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding organized by NPC in September 2002 at Dhulikhel.

Reformation of regional networks and district focal organizations:
Currently, CIF is conducting workshop on Regional Strategic Planning under EC funded capacity building programme.
First regional workshop was held at Hetauda  from …. April to …..April, covering the central development region. Of the participating (civil society) organizations, one focal organization was chosen from each district to coordinate/assist the activities of the programme as well as to collectively engage on HR protection and monitoring. One regional network organization was chosen on consensus basis from among the district level focal organization. In case of central region, the responsibility of network coordination was given to Samaj Vikash Kenda of Parsa district.  Likewise, regional workshop held in Dhankuta chose HUSADEC (previous network organization) as the regional network  coordinating organization for the eastern region. In the same way, the district focal organizations and regional network organizations will be formed in other regions from workshops which are scheduled to  be completed in April, 2009.
Profile of regional network coordinating organizations and the list of district focal organization will be included after the completion of the regional workshop.
